A smart car key guiding people to where the car is parked
OVERVIEW
Currently, vehicles are designed more and more automated. Correspondingly, the keys to the vehicles are also much smarter. The features mainly focused on automatic induction, central locking, get information on fuel status and estimated range, pre-conditioning, and starting the car remotely.
Also, in order to prevent theft, most companies integrate GPS into the vehicles for officially tracking, while some drivers might put a mini tracker into the car and track online or through a smartphone-based application.
However, tracking to prevent theft does not frequently happen in people’s daily lives. While finding the car in the public parking lot happens every day. So, this project focused on the daily use of car keys and design for the public, helping to solve the problems that might happen every day.

PROBLEMS
In order to solve the problems above, this project proposes to develop a smart car key which could direct people to where they parked the car. And my plan is integrating a GPS into the car key. There is no need to use the smartphone app to track the car, all the guidance will just show on the car key.
